Sailboats For Sale!

Just reading that headline makes my heart beat a little faster.  I'm not really sure which I love more, actually sailing or looking at sailboats for sale!

Sailboats4Sale.net hopes to be your number one guide for sailboat shopping.  We hope you'll tell your friends to post their sailboats for sale on our sailboat classified section.  No, it isn't the largest place to post sailboat ads, not yet.  But with the inclusion of eBay sailboats for sale, Craigslist sailboats for sale plus our own free classifieds section for sailboat ads, we should soon (as we expand the eBay and Craigslist sections) have the largest number of sailboats for sale in any one website.

But we're much more than just a bunch of sailboat ads.  We're growing a vast resource for sailing enthusiasts - links to websites of interest to sailors, a resource directory of vendors who cater to sailboat enthusiasts, a growing book library devoted to sailing and more is soon to come, including sailing blogs, videos and whatever you, our valued website visitor, cares to suggest.

My wife, Jean and I will soon be relocating to the Port Townsend, WA area.  It's been nice living on a large lake (Lake Eufaula, OK), and sailing twenty-five footers, eight-foot racers and the occasional balky (for me!) catamaran, but the heat is getting a bit much for us (like 105 - 110), so we're selling the house and property and moving to the beautiful northwest.

Which brings me back to "sailboats for sale", because we're selling our current fleet of sailboats, A MacGregor 25, a Windrose 24and Compaq 8 (the catamaran is already gone!) and will be shopping for a nice 32 foot cruiser for poking around the San Juan Islands and the rest of Puget Sound, and (if I can sweet talk Jean into the adventure) the occasional foray into the Pacific and up and down the coast.

I can hardly wait to start inspecting sailboats, thumping hulls and checking out keels and decks, etc., etc.  Sailboats for sale - now that's music to my ears!
